HIV Self Test Rapid Self Test
This test detects the antibodies produced in the body to fight against HIV infection. A positive test result is a preliminary judgment and requires further testing at a medical institution to confirm the result.
Please be sure to follow the test instructions (HIV Self Test Hong Kong) to obtain accurate results.
Do not eat or drink for at least 15 minutes before starting the test, or use oral hygiene products for at least 30 minutes before starting the test.
WARNING: If you are taking HIV treatment (ARVs), this may cause false test results.

What are the “risk behaviors” that can lead to HIV infection?
Risky behavior is defined as any of the following activities:
Having sex (vaginal, oral, or anal) with more than one partner
Having sex with someone who is HIV positive or whose HIV status is unknown
Male-to-male sexual activity
Using illegal injectable drugs or steroids
Sharing needles or syringes
Sexual Transaction
Diagnosed with or have had hepatitis, tuberculosis, or sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis

Negative result:
Due to the window period, any negative result does not absolutely guarantee that there are no low concentrations of HIV antibodies present in the blood sample, so regular retesting should be conducted.
Positive results:
Seek medical assistance as soon as possible.
